Hi! It's me, itch.io user fivebirds! I have a few comments.
1. Tragedy Strikes! So, 24 hours before release I permanently lost all the art (minus sprites) that I drew for this :,) when my computer crashed. As you can guess, after around two months of hard work on what ended up being a 25k story, this was incredibly de-motivating! I had already planned to start work on my next VN in September, so the idea of re-doing all that work... I was totally devastated! I gave myself September to salvage as much as I could, but It was kind of soul-crushing having to re-write and code a story I had already finished.
So!! I made the decision to move on. I've already started working on my next VN, a horror dating sim about witches!
But! I didn't want to just throw all my work in the bin. I'm someone who's super into old games and lost media- As much as I'm embarrassed to have my name associated with such a failure, I'd hate to be yet another indie game dev whose work is lost to time!
So, I salvaged around half the story and uploaded it! I think you'll still have an enjoyable time despite its unfinished edges.
2. I am aware of all the flaws!
Hello! So, I was absolutely enthused to see all the amazing feedback I got on my first game, the critiques helped me a lot! As a general rule, I love feedback and critiques that help me improve! But, as this was made during the few breaks I had in my busy September schedule, I do not believe this is representative of my abilities. I will absolutely hear out any criticisms of the art/story-telling since those were mostly salvaged from my original game, but I am already aware of all the coding/gameplay flaws. Think of this less as a game, and more of a thought experiment on independent creation and lost media!
3. Follow my future projects! If you want. If you like my games, my dev instagram is on my profile! (If you only like my art, my art instagram is there too) I'm going to be doing some surveys soon and input from fellow visual novel enjoyers are much appreciated :)

I find it kinda odd that the title of this upload on its page isn't the same as the actual game's name. In fact, it reads more like the title for a creepypasta.
Oh, that's interesting, I didn't even consider that!! The discrepancy is because I wanted to be transparent about the game's unfinished nature as not to disappoint any expectations, and I had salvaged the titlecard from my lost game. That's such a good catch, though!
Hi, can the download compatibility be setup so it can easily be installed on Itch Io Apps? ^-^
Thanks!
Oh,thanks for the comment! I'm not entirely sure how to accomplish that, are there any tutorials/guides you'd recommend?
Oh just go to Dashboard, go to edit, scroll down, and you should see the option to check which operating systems the game file is compatible with!
